Have You Attended an Art Retreat? What I'm Learning About Commissioning Art

Hello Reader,

AWESOME OPPORTUNITY FOR A RETREAT IN THE NETHERLANDS; Join Us In Zwolle! Painting the Dutch Landscape

I met Tali at ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, MI but she lives in the Netherlands. She is an experienced artist who teaches online classes and holds art retreats in Europe. I highly recommend her retreats because she is very experienced on managing retreats and has the artist's interest in mind.

What Tali says: "One of our favorite places in Europe to paint is my hometown of Zwolle!
Last year we painted our way around the city and found some really fabulous locations that tout world-class inspiration.
This retreat is not only landscape painting, we will also get acquainted with print-making workshops, sculpting in soft stone, and spacial watercolor(Aqvarel) instruction."

IS COMMISSIONED ART FOR YOU?

Many artists consider taking on commissions and to be successful there are some tricks of the trade. As a commissioned artist myself, I have so much to share with you and want to help those who are interested in learning more about how to be successful as a commissioned artist.

Right now I am putting together a program and I am learning from you artists about your interest in this form of art sales. What I have heard from you is helping me to find answers to some of the biggest challenges in commissioning art like the most common, "what if the buyer doesn't like it?" or "I feel too much pressure and don't feel very creative when I'm trying to please someone else."

These and many more questions will be answered in the new program about commissioning art.
